IndiGo to open India to Maldives and Indonesia

With India being a major source of tourists for the Maldives as well as the growing business ties between the two countries, this route is poised to enhance not only connectivity but also further contribute to strengthening the growing bilateral relations,” IndiGo head of sales, Vinay Malhotra, said. On October 18 the airline will start daily Mumbai to Denpasar with A320s, its second route to Bali after the LCC’s existing daily Bengaluru to the Indonesian island schedule. “With the launch of daily flights to Bali from Mumbai, in addition to Bengaluru, IndiGo now connects two major metros to Bali, an increasingly popular leisure destination for relaxation and exploration,” IndiGo said.
