Air India and Airbus have opened the doors of their joint venture Air India Aviation Training Academy at Gurugram in Haryana state. The new facility, equipped with 10 full flight simulators, offers courses for A320 and A350 fleet types.

Perth Airport has published its up-dated master plan, forecasting passengers travelling through its terminals will increase from 17.5 million air travellers in 2025 to 30.8 million air travellers in 2046. The master plan includes a new 3,000 metre runway parallel to the airport’s existing main runway, two new car parks, an expansion of Terminals 1 and 2 and a 237 room hotel. "We are delivering a once in a generation construction program that will completely change the face of Perth Airport and take Western Australia into the future," Perth Airport CEO, Jason Waters, said.
