Perth Airport has published its up-dated master plan, forecasting passengers travelling through its terminals will increase from 17.5 million air travellers in 2025 to 30.8 million air travellers in 2046. The master plan includes a new 3,000 metre runway parallel to the airport’s existing main runway, two new car parks, an expansion of Terminals 1 and 2 and a 237 room hotel. "We are delivering a once in a generation construction program that will completely change the face of Perth Airport and take Western Australia into the future," Perth Airport CEO, Jason Waters, said.
