Air India Group to temporarily split operations at Delhi Airport during upgrade works

Air India and its LCC unit, Air India Express, are moving some flights to different terminals at Delhi Airport later this month due to expansion works at its Terminal 3 hub. Read More » From October 26, Air India will shift 60 of its 180 domestic departures a day from Terminal 3 to Terminal 2, while Air India Express will shift all its domestic flights to Terminal 1. Air India and Air India Express international flights are remaining at Terminal 3. "The terminal enlargement works will reduce domestic capacity at T3, necessitating the relocation of certain domestic operations of Air India and Air India Express," Air India said. To facilitate flight connections, the airline group is providing passengers with inter-terminal connections and putting on extra staff to assist passengers.
