Air India and IndiGo expand European networks

Air India will operate four Delhi-London Heathrow flights daily in the northern hemisphere winter scheduling season. Read More » Starting on October 26, the route expansion will be an increase of four flights between the two cities compared with 24 flights weekly now. Two flights a day will be flown with A350-900s. The other two will be serviced with 787-9s fitted with Air India’s latest business, premium economy and economy products. During the northern winter season, Air India will offer 61 flights weekly on seven routes between India and the U.K.
In other India-U.K. news, IndiGo will introduce an extra Delhi-Manchester flight each week from November 15 and follow the up gauge with an expansion of Mumbai-Manchester’s schedule on November 17. The rotations will increase IndiGo’s schedules on the routes to five times and four times a week, respectively.
