IndiGo to launch three India-Asia routes in next two months

IndiGo will open three nonstop routes in November and December, starting with daily Delhi-Guangzhou in the second week of November followed soon after by three times weekly Vijayawada-Singapore and daily Delhi-Hanoi from December 20. Read More » Vijayawada will be IndiGo’s ninth destination from Singapore. Delhi-Guangzhou will join the LCC’s recently announced resumption of Kolkata-Guangzhou scheduled for October 26. "With this launch, IndiGo connects China to its vast domestic and growing international network, via Guangzhou," IndiGo head of global sales, Vinay Malhotra, said. "We are confident this will contribute to an acceleration of opportunities in trade, investment, tourism and even education between the two countries and reinforce our commitment to connect India to the world." Hanoi will be IndiGo’s third nonstop destination to Vietnam after existing Kolkata to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
