SkyTeam expands lounge access for elite status holders

The SkyTeam airline marketing alliance is adding elite status holders of its member airlines lounge access on domestic-only itineraries. Read More » The alliance has about 70 lounges accessible to eligible customers flying domestically who hold Elite Plus status with a member airline. The benefit applies to 32 lounges in China operated by China Eastern Airlines and Xiamen Airlines and ten in the U.S. operated by Air France, KLM, Korean Air and SAS. About 30 lounges were available to eligible frequent flyers when the alliance started offering lounge access on domestic itineraries on April 1 this year. "SkyTeam and its members plan to extend domestic lounge access to more locations and remains committed to enhancing the airport experience for loyal customers," it said.
