Shanghai Airport president, Ying yiming, said he wanted to “leverage the two groups’ key advantages in big data and virtual payment systems for his airport passengers”. Shanghai Pudong International airport opened its fourth runway last year and has embarked on a US$3.135 billion expansion of the complex to meet passenger demand.
