Vietnam startup airline, Sun PhuQuoc Airways, intends to acquire up 100 Airbus and Boeing jets in the next five years, CEO Nguyen Manh Quan told Bloomberg Markets. They have all become world renowned destinations. We want to elevate Phu Quoc to that same international level,” Quan said. The carrier, owned by resort conglomerate Sun Group, is planning to start commercial operations next month. It forecasts it will attract at least 20 million passengers and book annual revenue of about US$2 billion by 2030.
