AAR promotes Sharp to CFO

AAR Corp. has announced that Michael J. Sharp, 53, has been promoted to serve as its chief financial officer, effective immediately. Read More » Sharp, an AAR veteran, will replace John C. Fortson who is resigning and relocating to take a senior management position with a non-aviation company.


Macquarie AirFinance appoints CCO

Macquarie AirFinance has announced Liam Kavanagh as its new executive vice-president and chief commercial officer, effective December 1.

Kavanagh will take over from Harry Forsythe who is retiring and will return to his family home in Sydney.


FlightSafety names executive director

FlightSafety International has appointed Edward Koharik as executive director for its visual systems division. His task is to further enhance the efficiency of operations and scheduling, managing long-term planning and contributing to the design, manufacture and support of the firm’s visual systems and displays.


TGAS gets new EVP and partner on board

Aviation asset management firm The Green Airliner Singapore (TGAS) has appointed Franck Scherer as partner and executive vice-president.

Scherer, who was most recently chief of Safran Electronics Asia, will be responsible for further growing TGAS’ presence in the Asia-Pacific.
