Singapore Airlines Group reports interim net profit drop due to Air India losses

Read More » The demand for air travel remained strong, with SIA and Scoot carrying 20.8 million passengers, 8.0% more year-on-year, the group said. The Group recorded an operating profit of S$803 million in the first half of FY2025/26, marginally higher versus last year (+$7 million; +0.9%). The Group’s net profit for the first half fell by S$503 million (-67.8%) to S$239 million. Singapore Airlines began accounting for Air India’s earnings in December 2024 after the integration of joint venture Vistara into Air India (AI). The Singapore airline has a 25.1% stake in the Indian carrier.
