Cathay returns to Adelaide

Read More » The inaugural CX173, operated by A350-900 registration B-LRJ, touched down in Adelaide on Monday last week. The oneworld alliance member, which suspended flights to Adelaide during the COVID-19 pandemic, is flying to the city three times a week until March 27 next year. There are no other airlines on the route. "We are delighted to return to Adelaide, a city we have a long history with having first launched flights in 1992," Cathay chief customer and commercial officer, Lavinia Lau, said. "We look forward to welcoming customers onboard to experience our signature Cathay Pacific service, whether they are flying to this dynamic city, our home hub, or beyond." Adelaide is the sixth destination Cathay flies to in Australia alongside existing service to Brisbane, Cairns, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.
