New Fiji Airways CEO promises to lead with humility, focus and respect

Read More » Scurrah, who has taken over from Andre Viljoen as the airline’s CEO, said it was his goal for Fiji Airways to be "happiest airline" in the world while growing its route network and delivering world-class service. "One powerful lesson that COVID taught us is that nothing in the airline industry can or should ever be taken for granted," Scurrah said during a welcoming ceremony at the airline’s headquarters in Nadi, according to prepared remarks. "The effort it took to get us here must be matched by the effort to keep improving, because if we’re not growing and evolving, we’ll quickly be left behind. Together, we’ll continue to grow our airline, strengthen our culture, and show the world what the Spirit of Fiji truly means."
