The Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA) has named former Delta Air Lines executive, Wong Hong, as its next director general. Read More » Wong, who was most recently Delta president for China and has previously worked for Singapore Airlines, SATS and the International Air Transport Association, officially takes over from Subhas Menon on April 1 next year. Menon has served as AAPA director general for the past six years. "I am honoured to be entrusted with this role and look forward to working closely with our member airlines and industry stakeholders," Wong said. "The Asia Pacific region is central to global aviation, and I am committed to building on AAPA’s strong foundation as we work together to support the sustainable growth and competitiveness of our region’s industry."
