AerCap has delivered a 777-300ERSF freighter to Hong Kong-based cargo charter operator, Fly Meta Leasing Co. The lessor is due to deliver two more 777-300ERSF freighters next year.

Air India has named The Aviation Management Limited as its general sales agent for passenger sales services, reservations, ticketing and marketing initiatives in Mainland China. The appointment followed the airline announcing a resumption of Delhi-Shanghai Pudong nonstop flights from the start of February next year.

Brisbane Airport has commenced an 18-month voluntary, opt-in trial to evaluate tailwind operations in partnership with Airservices Australia and the country’s Civil Aviation Safety Authority. "Greater use of tailwind operations enables more over‑water arrivals and departures, particularly at night, helping to reduce aircraft noise impacts on local communities," Brisbane Airport said. "At all times, participation is voluntary and at the full discretion of the pilot in command."

EVA Air and its sister companies Evergreen Air Cargo Services and Evergreen Airline Services Corp have received Center of Excellence for Independent Validators (CEIV) certification for fresh produce and live animals. The airline also has CEIV certification for lithium batteries.

Lufthansa Systems has set up a new India-headquartered subsidiary based in Bengaluru, Lufthansa Systems India, focused on developing, testing, and delivering advanced software solutions for the global aviation industry.

Plaza Premium Group has cut the ribbon on its new passenger lounge in the domestic terminal at Adelaide Airport. The company said the Adelaide lounge marked its "inaugural presence in domestic terminals across Oceania".
