Hong Kong Airlines expands Canada network with Westjet code-share

Hong Kong Airlines has added its HX airline code on Westjet flights from Vancouver to Calgary, Toronto, Edmonton, Kelowna, Prince George and Victoria. "We are delighted to renew our partnership with WestJet," Hong Kong Airlines executive vice president, Louis Li, said. "This collaboration not only strengthens Hong Kong Airlines network coverage in North America, it allows our passengers to conveniently connect from Vancouver to major cities across the region and demonstrates our confidence in building a truly global network." WestJet chief commercial officer, John Weatherill, said: "This milestone brings our airlines closer together, and further connects Hong Kong with Canada, paving the way for stronger tourism and business connections on both sides of the Pacific."
