Orient Aviation Daily Digest will be our flagship product in 2026 and beyond after we have made the difficult decision to cease publication of our magazine, Orient Aviation, after more than 32 wonderful years.
Orient Aviation was launched in 1993 as the Asia-Pacific’s first solely commercial aviation news magazine. Its mission always has been to introduce the news and news makers of the region’s commercial aviation industry to a regional and global readership.
It has set the benchmark for accurate, incisive and in-depth coverage of the region’s commercial aviation news, published rich profiles of airline leaders and offered thoughtful analysis of the issues impacting the sector.
Along the way it has gained the respect of the industry and its media peers, with informed coverage led by our outstanding associate editor and chief correspondent, Tom Ballantyne.
A changing media landscape means readers are consuming news differently. To respond to this shift, our high quality coverage of Indo-Asia-Pacific commercial aviation will continue uninterrupted in our Monday to Friday Orient Aviation Daily Digest.
