EVA Air (EVA) will start nonstop flights to Washington Dulles from its Taipei Taoyuan hub in July this year. Read More » The Star Alliance member plans to serve the U.S. capital four times a week with 787-9 equipment, local media reported, citing comments from EVA president, Sun Chia-ming. Washington Dulles will be EVA’s eighth destination in the U.S. alongside existing service to Chicago O’Hare, Dallas/Fort-Worth, Houston Intercontinental, Los Angeles, New York JFK, San Francisco and Seattle. Currently, there are no nonstop flights on the Taipei-Washington D.C. route. Sun told reporters 2026 had started positively, with passenger traffic up compared with the prior year.
