February 4th 2026
Philippine Airlines (PAL) will end turboprop flights at Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) by March 29. Read More » The withdrawal of turboprop flights from NAIA is part of the Manila Slot Coordination Committee of the Department of Transportation’s efforts to ease congestion and maximise air traffic flow at the country’s capital city airport. Affected passengers have been rebooked on alternative flights departing from Cebu, Clark or Manila. Other options include rerouting their travel or receiving a refund. The airline is also adding more services with its jet fleet from NAIA to destinations such as Cebu, Dumaguete, Iloilo, Roxas and Tacloban. "With the mandated transition of turboprop services out of NAIA, PAL will introduce additional domestic jet frequencies beginning March 2026, expanding capacity on high-demand routes and providing passengers with more travel options," PAL said.
