All Nippon Airways (ANA) has selected Swiss AviationSoftware’s AMOS software solution to update its legacy maintenance and engineering systems.
Software platform, OneReg, has announced Air New Zealand (Air NZ) has joined its share register after purchasing a 5% stake in the company. Air NZ is also a customer of the OneReg - founded in N.Z. - with its operational and safety units using the platform to manage documentation on policies, processes and procedures.
The training arms of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore and Civil Aviation Authority of France have jointly launched an advanced master in air transport management program, which aims to "strengthen aviation leadership, regulatory capabilities, and aviation safety outcomes" among Pacific Small Island Developing States (PSIDS).
Still with CAAS, the regulator has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Singapore Economic Development Board, GE Aerospace and the International Centre for Aviation Innovation to set up the Singapore Partnership for Aviation and Aerospace Research and Capability, focused on artificial intelligence applications, airspace modernisation and advanced aerodynamic research.
Also, CAAS, Airbus and CFM International have signed a memorandum of understanding to set up an airport testing ground in Singapore for CFM’s Revolutionary Innovation for Sustainable Engines (RISE) technologies, such as the Open Fan engine.
