Read More » Although January’s deliveries total was down from 63 deliveries in December, which is often the busiest month for deliveries, the result was the third highest for the first month of the year in the OEM’s history. Boeing received 107 new orders and four cancellations, for a total of 103 net new orders in January, the company’s best January result since 2012. On February 10, 2026, Boeing Vice President and 737 program General Manager Katie Ringgold said at the Pacific Northwest Aerospace Association’s Advance 2026 conference that the OEM plans to open a fourth 737 MAX production line in Everett, Washington, in midsummer. The new line, named “North Line”, will mark the first time a 737 has been produced outside Boeing’s Renton plant south of Seattle. Boeing has started training workers to staff the line. The decision to introduce the new facility is part of the OEM’s plans to increase production of the 737 MAX jet to 63 jets a month in the next few years. It is currently increasing production from 38 jets a month to 42. Suppliers can expect Boeing to further increase output by about 15% in the next 18 months, Ringgold said.
