EVA Airways increased the number of passengers flown in January

Taiwan’s EVA Airways said it flew over 1.2 million passengers in January 2026, up 2.35% compared to the same month a year ago. Read More » Demand (RPK) increased 2.03%, and capacity (ASK) was up 5.4% year-on-year. The average load factor declined by 2.68 pp to 83.7% for the month. EVA Air’s total revenue in January 2026 was TW$18.5 billion (US$580 million), a 2.48% decrease compared to the same month last year. This year’s Lunar New Year, an important economic factor for the Region, falls in February, rather than January in 2025, which could affect year-on-year comparisons due to a high base effect.
