Asiana Airlines boosts Mainland China schedule

Asiana Airlines has increased its flight operations between South Korea and Mainland China for the upcoming northern hemisphere summer scheduling season, which begins at the end of March. Read More » The Star Alliance member said its South Korea-Mainland China schedule from March 29 comprised 161 flights a week on 18 routes. This included a resumption of flying to Chongqing and Chengdu from Seoul Incheon, as well as increasing Incheon-Beijing service to 20 flights a week, from 17 currently. Asiana Airlines said demand for air travel between the two countries was boosted by an extension visa-free travel for South Korean citizens to Mainland China until the end of the year. There has also been more group travel activity to South Korean from Mainland China.
