Air China grows passenger numbers 1.2% last month

Air China flew 13.3 million passengers on its domestic, international and regional networks in January, up by 1.2% from the 13.1 million travellers it carried in the same month in 2025. Read More » In the reported 31 days, domestic passenger numbers flown were higher by 1.4%, at 11.2 million, and regional network travellers grew 1.1% to 417,600. The gains were offset by international passengers declining half of a percentage point to 1.6 million. The Star Alliance member’s capacity contracted 0.9% compared with 12 months ago and passenger load factor rose 3.2 percentage points to 82.2%. Air China’s fleet stood at 960 aircraft on January 31, down four from 964 at the end of December last year.
