Air Astana to start second nonstop route to Guangzhou in June

Kazakhstan-headquartered Air Astana will add a second nonstop route to Guangzhou in June when it begins twice weekly flights to the city from its Astana hub. Read More » The service is scheduled to begin on June 2 and will be flown by A321 aircraft. The new route joins Air Astana’s existing four flights a week between Guangzhou and Almaty. "The launch of the new route helps strengthen business, tourism and cultural ties between Kazakhstan and China, and expands opportunities for travel and transit through Air Astana hubs in Astana and Almaty," Air Astana said. Air Astana currently flies to Beijing Capital, Guangzhou, Sanya and Urumqi in Mainland China, with Almaty-Shanghai flights to commence next month.
