SpiceJet posts net loss for final quarter 2025

India-headquartered SpiceJet has reported a net loss of 2.6 billion rupee (US$29 million) for the three months to December 31 2025 compared with net profit of 204.4 million rupee in the same months in 2024. Read More » Revenue from operations increased 13.8%, to 14.1 billion rupee, SpiceJet said in a regulatory filing. The LCC highlighted a strong quarter-on-quarter improvement in financial performance in the final quarter of last year with revenue up 77% compared with the three months to September 30 with the bottom lining improving from a 6.2 billion rupee net loss in the 2025 September quarter. "This quarter reflects the progress we have been working steadily towards," SpiceJet chair and managing director, Ajay Singh, said. "Higher revenues, improving yields and a sharp reduction in losses demonstrate our operational strategy is delivering results. With more aircraft in service, a sharper network focus and continued balance sheet repair, we are building a more resilient airline, step by step."
