India-based Adani Defence and Aerospace and Embraer have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to collaborate on building a final assembly line for the E175 commercial passenger aircraft for India’s regional jet program. This new, "enhanced" MOU repented a "significant step forward" from the MOU the pair signed in January this year, the pair said in a joint statement.

Boeing has received approval from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for the simulators to train pilots on the 777-9X platform, developed in partnership with CAE. "Securing these approvals is an important step as we prepare for the start of flight training," Boeing 777-X chief technical pilot, Captain Gary Mandy, said.

Emirates Airline brought its "travel rehearsal" program, which simulates a flight to help passengers with neurodiverse needs familiarise themselves with all aspects of air travel, to Bali earlier this month. Bali was the third city in Asia-Pacific to host Emirates’ program after Brisbane and Manila. "Through the efforts of Emirates’ Autism Centre and their partners, we were fortunate enough to bring this travel rehearsal to Denpasar and play an active role in enhancing the travel experience for people with accessible travel requirements," Emirates country manager for Indonesia, Majid Al Falasi, said.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand has raised the international passenger service charge for departing international passengers to 1,120 baht (US$36), from 830 baht. The new rate takes effect from June 30.
