Air cargo traffic posts "robust start" to 2026, with challenges ahead: IATA

"In addition to the long-running uncertainties of evolving U.S. trade policies, the outbreak of hostilities in the Middle East will both weigh heavy on global supply chains," Walsh said. The airline lobby group’s report said the Asia-Pacific region grew CTKs 7.8%%, while capacity, or available cargo tonne-kilometres (ACTK), were up 3.3%.
