Korean Air cuts ribbon on new LAX lounge this week

Korean Air (KAL) will open the doors to its refurbished premium passenger lounge at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on Friday March 6 (local time). Read More » The floor space of the two-storey facility, at the Tom Bradley International Terminal, has been increased by 27% following the upgrade works. A dedicated section for first class passengers is on the upper level, with Miler Club and Prestige Class lounges for eligible passengers on the lower level. It is the SkyTeam alliance member’s largest lounge outside of South Korea. "With the opening of this flagship lounge, Korean Air will further elevate its presence at LAX while delivering a more refined and differentiated premium travel experience," KAL chief of inflight service and lounges, David Pacey, said. "We will continue to invest in our services and infrastructure to exceed the expectations of our global customers." KAL said its renovated lounge at New York JFK Airport was due to open later this year.
