All Nippon Airways starts posts 7.8% increase in international traffic in January

All Nippon Airways (ANA) reported 787,654 passengers carried on its international network to start 2026, compared with 730,993 in January last year. Read More » While the Star Alliance member’s monthly traffic report does not provide a specific breakdown on its Mainland China routes, it showed the airline’s "Asia and Oceania" services grew passengers 6.2% year-on-year in the month. ANA said at its financial results presentation last month the impact of the Mainland China government’s travel advisory for its citizens to reconsider travel to Japan amid geopolitical tensions "remained limited". The international passenger load factor was 2.1 percentage points higher at 82.5%. The airline said it grew domestic passengers flown by 3.3% to 3.1 million in January. The domestic passenger load factor rose to 5.2 percentage points to 72.5%.
