Airbus reports 35 deliveries for February

Airbus delivered 35 commercial aircraft to 21 customers in February, bringing to 54 the total number of aircraft handed over to customers through the first two months of this year. Read More » The company’s orders and deliveries data for January showed the 35 aircraft comprised two A350 family aircraft, eight A220-300s and 25 A320neo family aircraft. Airbus said at its annual results presentation last month Pratt & Whitney’s "failure to commit to the number of engines ordered by Airbus" was negatively impacting the company’s deliveries guidance and ramp up trajectory for the A320neo family program. Airbus is targeting 870 commercial aircraft deliveries in 2026. The airframer booked orders for 28 aircraft last month, underpinned by Air Astana’s order for five A320neos and 20 A321neos. There were no widebody orders in the month. Airbus total orders in the year to February stood at 77 aircraft.
