EVA Airways records over 17% passenger revenue increase in February

Taiwan’s EVA Airways flew 1,164,317 passengers in February 2026, 11.6% more than during the same month a year ago. Read More » The passenger demand (RPK) increased 9.11% year-on-year, and the capacity (ASK) increased 6.12%. The passenger load factor in February increased by 2.24 pp year-on-year, reaching 81.96%. The passenger revenue for the month reached TW$13 billion (US$314 million), up 17,35% compared to February 2025. The February results were affected because this year’s Lunar New Year celebrations took place in February, compared to January in 2025. Nevertheless, EVA Air’s combined January-February results pointed to steady growth in passenger numbers (6.69%), passenger revenue (5.50%), passenger demand (5.31%), and capacity (5.74%). While over the two-month period, the passenger load factor declined 0.34pp, the passenger revenue increased 5.50%.
In another EVA Air news, the carrier announced this week that on March 29, 2026, it will debut its 4th-generation premium economy class on the Taipei-San Francisco route, operated with Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
