China Airlines records 18.5% increase in passenger revenue in February

Taiwan-headquartered China Airlines (CAL) flew 985,266 passengers in February 2026, an 8.1% increase compared to the same month last year. Read More » Passenger traffic (RPK) grew 7% year-on-year, while capacity (ASK) decreased 0.3%, resulting in a 5.7pp increase in passenger load factor to 84.1%. The SkyTeam carrier recorded TW$15.3 billion (US$470 million) operating revenue for the month, 18.5% higher than in February 2025. This year’s February results were boosted by the fact that Lunar New Year celebrations took place during the month, compared to January in 2025.
