This week, Vietnam’s start-up carrier Sun PhuQuoc Airways (SPA) held 2026 Strategic Agent Workshops in preparation for the launch of its international operations. Read More » The airline said it will expand into seven international markets this year, following its international operations debut on March 29, 2026, with the inauguration of flights to Taipei. These markets are Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, India, and Malaysia, and the plan to inaugurate the operations to them has been marked as “Rise to Asia” journey. In parallel with network expansion, SPA is officially launching its international distribution system through partnerships with GSAs across multiple markets. At the workshops, the airline also announced its regional GSA partners, including TAMGP (a joint venture between TAM Group and GP Group) in Thailand, Discover the World in Singapore, and OpenSky in Hong Kong.
