Singapore Airlines boosts London schedule with additional services to Gatwick

Singapore Airlines (SIA) will fly twice daily to London Gatwick from its Changi hub between July 3 and August 29. Read More » Ahead of the schedule boost to double daily, the Star Alliance member is increasing the current daily service to Gatwick - operated by three-class A350-900s configured with 42 business, 24 premium economy and 187 economy seats - to 10 times a week on March 31. Its schedule will remain at 10 times weekly from the start of September. Gatwick is SIA’s second nonstop route to London and third to the U.K. alongside its four flights a day to Heathrow and five flights a week to Manchester. It will have 47 flights a week between Singapore and the U.K. during the peak northern hemisphere summer season in July and August. SIA is one of three airlines flying nonstop between London and Singapore alongside British Airways and Qantas.
