Malaysia Airports reports 7.3% passenger growth for February

Malaysia Airports had 8.9 million passengers travel through its network of airports in Malaysia in February, up 7.2% from 8.3 million passengers in the same month in 2025. Read More » Through the first two months of 2026, which takes into account Lunar New Year being in February this year and January last year, passenger numbers were 5.8% higher at 18.3 million. Malaysia Airports said the growth was supported by new services and increased flight frequencies on key regional routes. "While passenger demand across the region remains resilient, Malaysia Airports continues to closely monitor global developments affecting the aviation sector, including the evolving situation in the Middle East," Malaysia Airports said.
