India’s Akasa Air announced that it has reached the milestone of serving over 25 million passengers in just over 42 months (3.5 years) since commencing operations, becoming the fastest Indian airline to achieve this feat. Akasa Air currently operates a network of 26 domestic and six international destinations, using a fleet of 35 aircraft. The airline has placed a firm order for 226 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, with 191 additional aircraft scheduled for delivery over the next six years.
