Read More » The two airlines signed a joint business agreement on April 17, 2025. They plan to strengthen their operations in Japan, Singapore, Australia, India, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Through the joint venture, the airlines aim to align their operations more closely, enabling them to offer coordinated schedules, seamless connections, and enhanced travel options for passengers. In their application, ANA and SIA noted that overlap between the two airlines’ services in Malaysia is limited, making it unlikely that the agreement will have any significant adverse impact on competition. CAAM is accepting public hearings until April 1, 2026. It will assess the potential impact on market competition, consumer choice, and pricing before granting approval.
