Thales and Air India have signed a 10-year agreement for Thales’ FlytCARE services package which provides line maintenance, spares, repairs and logistics management support for Thales’ in-flight entertainment (IFE) systems on board the airline’s 57 Airbus and Boeing aircraft.
All Nippon Airways (ANA) announced a comprehensive loyalty partnership with IHG Hotels & Resorts. Launching after October, IHG One Rewards and ANA Mileage Club (AMC) members will gain access to benefits including an enhanced loyalty and recognition offer for AMC members, double dip points-earning on select ANA flights, and two-way points exchange of ANA miles and IHG One Rewards points. Through this partnership, members can earn and redeem rewards across ANA’s extensive international network serving 40 cities and 55 routes worldwide, as well as across IHG’s global hotel portfolio of over 7,000 hotels in more than 100 countries.
Ahead of airlines merger, Korean Air (KAL) and Asiana Airlines volunteers jointly supported a cultural experience program for individuals with disabilities at the Odusan Unification Tower in Paju, Gyeonggi Province on April 22 in observance of Day of Persons with Disabilities. On April 16, the airlines’ educational volunteer groups jointly hosted a career lecture at Jungdong Middle School in Gangnam, Seoul. Korean Air and Asiana Airlines said they will continue to carry out joint community initiatives, creating opportunities for employees to connect while advancing their shared commitment to corporate social responsibility as a unified organization.
World Star Aviation, in partnership with Magellan Aviation Group, has completed the transaction of three Eastar Jet-leased Boeing 737-800, involving the sale and novation of the aircraft from the Sprite 2021-1 ABS platform to Magellan.
