South Korea authorities approve T’Way name change to Trinity Airways

South Korea-headquartered T’Way said the country’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport had approved an application to change its name to Trinity Airways. Read More » The LCC, now owned by property conglomerate Daemyung Sono Group following the completion of a deal with other shareholders in 2025, first announced the proposed name change in September last year. The name change still requires further approvals from overseas aviation authorities before it can take effect. T’Way is retaining its TW airline code. In addition to the name change, T’Way is also planning closer integration with other businesses part of its owner Daemyung Sono Group’s portfolio, including hotel and resorts.
