Philippine Airlines upgauges Toronto route to A350-1000

Read More » The A350-1000 commenced flying on PAL’s Toronto route on Friday June 5, replacing the A350-900 which was previously deployed on the three times a week service. The aircraft upgauge represented an increase of 87 seats, given the A350-1000 is configured to carry 382 passengers comprising 42 in business 24 in premium economy and 316 in economy, compared with the A350-900’s 295 seats (30 business, 24 premium economy and 241 economy). It is PAL’s second route with the A350-1000 alongside existing flights to New York JFK. “Designed for long-range operations, the A350-1000 delivers significant improvements in passenger experience, fuel efficiency and operational performance,” PAL said. “This also strengthens PAL’s cargo capabilities, enabling shipments to and from North America to connect efficiently to the airline’s broader cargo network.”
