IndiGo boosts India-Bangkok network with new Gaya service

IndiGo will start nonstop flights from Gaya in eastern India to Bangkok in late October. Read More » The twice-weekly service from the second-largest city by population in Bihar State is due to take off from October 26. The route has been scheduled as a morning departure from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi and afternoon departure from Gaya. "The service will directly connect Gaya, home to Bodh Gaya, one of Buddhism’s most sacred pilgrimage sites, with Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, a country with deep Buddhist traditions," IndiGo said. "The addition of Gaya further strengthens IndiGo’s presence in Thailand while expanding access to one of India’s most significant cultural and spiritual destinations." Gaya will be IndiGo’s eighth nonstop route between Bangkok and India alongside existing service from Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai.
