Asiana Airlines, Korean Air to switch on Starlink wifi on select aircraft from tomorrow

The airline said it expected Starlink to be offered on its in-service fleet by the end of next year. "The launch establishes Korean Air as the first full service carrier in East Asia to introduce Starlink connectivity, marking an initial milestone in its broader fleet modernization roadmap ahead of the airline’s merger," KAL said. "Aircraft awaiting retrofit will continue offering the airline’s existing paid wifi service during the fleet transition." Similarly, Asiana Airlines will offer complimentary Starlink-supplied internet service on board nine A350-900s and one A330-300. The two airlines are expected to complete their merger in December.
