EVA Air posts 3.5% passenger growth and more than 20% increase lift in revenue for August

Taiwan-headquartered EVA Air flew 1.23 million passengers in August, up 6% from the 1.16 million passengers it flew in the same month in 2025. Read More » Passenger load factor rose 1.9 percentage points to 79.2% as demand, measured by revenue passenger kilometres, climbed 9.5% and capacity expanded 6.9% year-on-year in the month. The Star Alliance member booked passenger revenue of T$14.2 billion (US$449 million) for the 31 days, up 21.1% from T$11.7 billion in August 2025. Cargo revenue jumped 28.7% to T$5.8 billion, CAL said in its monthly financial and operational report.
