Cebu reports 1.9% lift in passengers for August

Cebu Pacific flew 2.14 million passengers on its domestic and international networks in August, up from 2.1 million in the same month in 2025, with an increase in domestic travellers offset by declines on its international network. Read More » The LCC reported domestic passengers rose 3.8% to 1.62 million, while international passengers fell 3.3% to 523,000. "We saw encouraging travel demand in the month of August supported by resilient domestic traffic and improving performance across select international markets, including Korea and Bali," Cebu Pacific CEO, Mike Szucs, said. "As we approach the year-end travel season, we will remain disciplined in managing capacity, balancing growth opportunities with the evolving fuel cost environment." The seat load factor was up 1.1 percentage points to 84.8%, as revenue passenger kilometres rose 1.6% and capacity, measured by available seat kilometres declined 2.5%.
