Jetstar Airways receives sixth A320neo

Read More » The aircraft, registration VH-A5F, arrived in Melbourne on Monday, following its ferry flight from Airbus headquarters in Toulouse via Istanbul, Bengaluru and Perth. The Qantas Group LCC said in a post on LinkedIn the aircraft was expected to begin commercial service "later this week after a few finishing touches". The Jetstar Airways fleet comprises 56 A320ceos, six A321ceos, six A320neos and 20 A321LR narrowbodies, as well as 11 787-8 Dreamliners, according to the airline’s website. There are also orders for 12 A321XLRs. "Power, versatility, sustainability and comfort are all part of our ongoing fleet renewal program," Jetstar Airways chief pilot and head of flying operations, Tyrone Simes, said in a post on LinkedIn.
