Aerospace maintenance and engineering services company, AAR Corp, has agreed a deal to acquire a 65% stake in MRO Holdings. The transaction gives MRO Holdings an implied enterprise value of US$4 billion. The transaction was expected to close in February 2027.
IndiGo has partnered with retailer Unicorn, to offer members of its BluChips frequent flyer program the opportunity to earn points through the purchase of eligible products from the Apple reseller.
Malaysia Aviation Group carrier, Malaysia Airlines, and Mainland China-headquartered TravelSky Technology have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) focused on expanding the airline’s presence on digital channels and in markets across Asia-Pacific such as Hong Kong, Macao, Mainland China, Malaysia and Singapore."Our collaboration with TravelSky reflects our commitment to making Malaysia Airlines easier to discover and book through the digital channels customers use," MAG chief commercial officer of airline business, Dersenish Aresandiran, said. "This partnership also forms part of our continued investment in locally relevant capabilities, enabling us to bring Malaysian Hospitality to more travellers."
Airport services provider, SATS, has started a pilot program using autonomous cargo vehicles to transport freight around Singapore Changi Airport. The vehicles are used to transfer freight between the SATS airfreight terminals and freight forwarders’ warehouses.
