Air New Zealand (Air NZ) has launched a new menu for business and premium economy passengers on long-haul flights from Auckland and from Los Angeles, New York JFK, San Francisco and Vancouver developed by its premium culinary ambassador, Josh Emett.

Boeing has unveiled a data analysis platform developed in partnership with Microsoft which uses AI and other tools to offer airlines deeper insights to support their operations, to be known as Dataliner. "Airlines have more data available to them than ever before, but turning that data into meaningful action remains a challenge," Boeing Global Services vice president for cabin, modifications, maintenance and digital services, Lindsey Douglas, said. "Dataliner is an important step in how Boeing is bringing its aircraft expertise and digital capabilities together to help customers anticipate maintenance needs, identify emerging risks and take timely action."

China Aircraft Leasing Group said in a regulatory filing it had agreed a deal to sell one A320 to an Amergin Asset Management leasing subsidiary, with the transaction expected to be finalised by November 16 this year.

RTX, the parent of Collins Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney and Raytheon, has reported net profit of US$2.6billion for the three months to September 30 2026, up 35% from US$1.9 billion in the same three months last year. Revenue rose 11% to US$25 billion, RTX said in a regulatory filing. "Our strong execution and operational focus in the third quarter enabled RTX to deliver double-digit organic sales growth across commercial aerospace and defence," RTX chair and CEO, Chris Calio, said. "Demand for our products remains robust with over US$81 billion of new commercial and defence awards, resulting in a record backlog of US$340 billion." The company has raised its full year outlook for adjusted sales, earnings per share and free cash flow.

Vietjet has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Satair proposing to collaborate on areas such as supply chain optimisation, the development of the Long Thanh aviation hub and aircraft lifecycle and circulatory solutions, among others.
