ATR appoints SVP Engineering

ATR has appointed Alessandro Amendola as new senior vice-president of engineering, responsible for all activities related to the fields of certification and airworthiness, Read More » customization, systems and propulsion, structures, flight tests, flight technologies, support, and quality, processes and methods.

Amendola, who will succeed Carmine Orsi, will sit on ATR’s executive committee and report to CEO, Patrick de Castelbajac.


Hawaiian selects chief legal officer

More changes at Honolulu-based Hawaiian Airlines, where Aaron Alter has been appointed executive vice-president, chief legal officer and corporate secretary, overseeing all legal, regulatory and corporate governance matters, as well as the administration of quarterly board and annual shareholder meetings at the airline. Alter succeeds Hoyt Zia, who will retire in early 2016.

"As legal advisor to Hawaiian since 2009, Aaron's extensive knowledge of our company combined with his notable professional background make him well-suited to lead our legal team," said Hawaiian CEO, Mark Dunkerley.
