Delta Air Lines announces Greater China boss

Wong Hong has been appointed to the newly created position of President Greater China for Delta Air Lines, it was announced on Friday. Read More » Wong, whose most recent position was as executive vice president of food solutions at SATS, will report to Delta’s senior vice president Asia-Pacific, Vinay Dube. Wong also has served at the International Air Transport Association as regional director Asia-Pacific for Industry Distribution and Financial Services.


AWAS confirms Siegel as CEO

Dublin-based lessor AWAS Aviation Capital has named David Siegel its new chief, after former CEO Ray Sisson stepped down in June 2015. Siegel was most recently CEO of U.S. carrier Frontier Airlines.

AWAS has offices in Miami, New York City, and Singapore. It holds a portfolio of more than 250 aircraft.


CAE appoints new CFO

Montreal-based CAE has announced the appointment of Sonya Branco – a 15-year finance veteran – as the company's vice-president finance and CFO, effective May 23, 2016. Branco, with CAE since 2008, succeeds Stephane Lefebvre who has recently accepted a leadership position with le Cirque du Soleil. 

"I am very pleased to welcome Sonya Branco in her new role of CFO. Sonya is a highly skilled and successful financial executive and a strong leader within CAE," said Marc Parent, CAE's president and CEO.
