Lessors
Dublin-based lessor AWAS has placed a follow-on firm order for 15 A320 family aircraft, comprising three A321ceos and 12 A320ceos, bringing its cumulative order total to 95 A320 family aircraft to date, including 89 A320s and six A321s. China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings Limited (CALC) has delivered two new A320s to Turkey’s Pegasus Airlines, its first customer in Europe.

Airbus Flight Hour Services (FHS) has opened a new spares-pool and logistic platform in Hong Kong, providing local support to its A350 XWB customers in the region. ST Aerospace’s subsidiary Elbe Flugzeugwerke GmbH (EFW) will be setting up a new €5.5 million subsidiary in Germany, which will be in charge of the production of lightweight components, mainly comprising floor panels and cargo linings, for single-aisle Airbus aircraft.

Airbus Flight Hour Services (FHS) has opened a Spares-Pool and Logistic platform in Hong Kong to service its Asian A350 XWB customers.
Routes
Batik Air has added a daily Jakarta-Makassar-Ternate A320 flight. China Eastern Airlines will reduce frequency on the Pudong-Chicago B777-300ER route from daily to six-weekly beginning October 30. Emirates Airline will reduce frequency to Lagos from double daily to daily commencing July 1. EVA Air will increase frequency on the Taipei-Surabaya A321 route from twice- to thrice-weekly starting November 29. Hong Kong Airlines will launch a twice-weekly Hong Kong-Saipan A330-300 service from July 6. Jetstar Asia will start a twice-weekly Singapore-Sanya A320 route effective August 2. Juneyao Airlines will add a four-weekly Nanjing-Osaka A320 service starting August 1. Royal Brunei will start weekly Brunei-Zhengzhou A320 operations from July 5. Tianjin Airlines has launched a thrice-weekly Tianjin-Vladivostok A321 service. Taiwan’s V Air will cancel its four-weekly Taipei-Manila A320/A321 route from July 14, less than four months after the route was launched.
